1 game
  • Board game

2 to 4 children on the TV, each with questions at their own level

Grows with your child

Every child plays at their own level, at their own pace.

  • A profile for every child

At the start your child picks themselves under ‘Who’s playing?’, just like on a streaming service. Every child has their own animal, level and language.

  • Levels that grow along

Hazabel starts at a level that fits the age. A few right answers make it a little harder; when your child struggles, it gets a little easier.

  • Everything is read aloud

No instruction is text only, so children who can’t read yet can play completely on their own.

  • No ‘wrong!’, just a hint

No time pressure and no buzzer. A mistake gets a friendly hint.

Learning with your own world

Children learn best with what they know. That’s why you can add your own photos in the parent corner: grandma and grandpa in Memory, your house as a puzzle, the teddy bear in the shop or the cat in the word games.

Give a photo a name and your child hears it when the card turns over. Parents add the photos; children don’t take photos themselves.

No photos yet? Every game works straight away with 158 paper pictures.

On TV, tablet and phone

One app for the whole family, on whichever screen you like best.

  • On the TV

Google TV and Android TV, with the normal remote: arrows, OK and Back. Big choices, a clear focus and easy to read from the sofa.

  • On the tablet

iPad and Android tablets: tap and drag directly. Some games are even a little richer on a tablet. Playing on iPhone and Android phones works too.

  • Your phone as a remote

Control the TV with big arrows, OK and Back, and type names with your phone’s keyboard. Pick photos on your phone; they appear on the TV by themselves over Wi-Fi.

Pair your devices once with a QR code. After that they keep each other up to date over your own Wi-Fi.

No account, no ads — everything stays at home

Hazabel works without an account and without a cloud. What your child does stays at home.

  • No account and no ads
  • No in-app purchases
  • No tracking or analytics
  • Photos, profiles and progress stay on your own devices
  • Pair your TV, tablet and phone with a QR code: they sync only over your own Wi-Fi, encrypted
  • The parent corner is protected by a parent code

Questions?

Does it work without internet?

Yes. All games and pictures are in the app. Pairing your own devices only needs your own Wi-Fi, not the internet.

Which devices does it work on?

On Google TV and Android TV (with the normal remote), on iPad and iPhone, and on Android tablets and phones.

Is Hazabel available in English?

Yes. For each child you choose Dutch (Nederlands) or English. The games, texts and reading voice follow the child who is playing.
